This temple is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Japan attracting many visitors every years.
This temple was designated as one of the 17 World Cultural Heritage listed monuments in KYOTO.
It is a three-story building.
It is very famous for its top two stories covered with pure gold leaf.
Each floor has a different architectural style.
The rooftop is capped with a golden Phenix.
The building was burned down in 1950, and was completed as exact reproduction of original building in 1955.
