Yoshida Shrine was founded in 859 as a guardian deity of Heiankyo or capital of Japan.
It is a historic shrine that has been loved by the people of Kyoto.
There are various small shrines within the precincts such as the Kaso shrine that⛩️ enshrines the god of cooking🔪🥢🍽️ and the Yamakage shrine that enshrines the god of sweets.🍰🍮🍩
If you go deeper into the Yoshida Shrine, you will find Mt. Yoshida and you can enjoy a short hike.🌲
