Japan’s newest baseball stadium has been completed in Hokkaido. Named “Dream Ballpark,” the stadium boasts a sauna, hotel, and even a brewery.
The team, the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, is known for having produced famous players such as Shohei Ohtani and Yu Darvish, who both went on to play in MLB.
Rakuten Mobile Saikyo Park Miyagi
This stadium embodies the spirit of Tohoku. It’s a unique stadium where you can ride a Ferris wheel during a match. Located in Sendai, it offers excellent access to various places in the Tohoku region, such as Matsushima and Ginzan Onsen.
Mercari Stadium Kashima & Soccer Museum
Mercari Stadium (Kashima Soccer Stadium) is Japan’s first full-scale, soccer-specific stadium. It has become a symbol of Kashima, helping to establish the city’s reputation as a “soccer town.”
The stadium also features a statue of Zico, the Brazilian legend who laid the foundation for the Kashima Antlers to become a powerhouse club. Visitors can learn about the history of Zico and the Kashima Antlers at the Kashima Soccer Museum located within the stadium.
Tokyo Dome & Japan National Stadium
Tokyo Dome is Japan’s first indoor baseball stadium. It is primarily used for baseball games and has also hosted international tournaments such as the World Baseball Classic and the Premier12.
It also houses the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum, where visitors can learn about the history of Japanese baseball and legendary players.
The National Stadium, also known as MUFG Stadium, is a modern sports facility known for its vibrant atmosphere and comfortable spectator experience.
Completed in 2019, it is a relatively new stadium and has hosted the Tokyo Olympics and the World Athletics Championships Tokyo.

This is the only soccer stadium in Japan where you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Mount Fuji.
