Fukuoka is also loved for feeling real and livable, with history and everyday culture packed into a compact city—especially in Hakata, where the story of Fukuoka is easiest to understand through local streets and traditions. This private full-day tour starts with a clear, fixed morning route for context: Kushida Shrine (Hakata’s guardian shrine, known locally as “Okushida-san”) and the Hakatamachiya Furusatokan (Hakata Machiya Folk Museum) for an up-close look at Hakata’s cultural heritage.
After lunch, you’ll head to the Hawks’ dome area to enjoy modern Fukuoka’s “wow” side—passing by BOSS E-ZO FUKUOKA and visiting the Sadaharu Oh Baseball Museum, a fun, interactive stop that makes Hawks baseball culture approachable even for casual fans. This tour is customizable upon request.
