Step into tradition with a serene tea ceremony and elegant kimono experience in Hakodate

Experience the elegance of Japanese tradition with our Tea Ceremony at Yukura Shrine.
Learn to prepare and enjoy matcha, accompanied by traditional sweets, in a serene and authentic setting.
This experience offers a taste of Japan’s rich cultural heritage.

Workshops are available for groups. Prior reservation is required.

Contents of Kimono experience ① Kimono Dressing and Neighborhood Stroll
Get dressed in a kimono and enjoy a stroll around the nearby area.② Uchikake (Bridal Kimono)
Wear a traditional uchikake (bridal kimono) and take commemorative photos with your own camera. The uchikake takes about 5 minutes to put on.
Contents of Tea Ceremony experience Make and drink their own tea. Japanese traditional sweets are included.
Location: Yukura Shrine
*Participants will not wear kimonos (due to time constraints).
