Use this product to make the most of your day in port from Maizuru with a private car and English-speaking guide and choose from three carefully designed routes. The most popular option combines Kyoto’s top temples with Amanohashidate, one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views, for a “city & sea” experience in a single day. Or, focus on Kyoto’s classics—Fushimi Inari, Kinkaku-ji and Arashiyama—for a deep dive into shrines, temples and bamboo forests, or escape the crowds with a rural route to Miyama, Ine fishing village and Amanohashidate. All itineraries are timed for cruise schedules with pickup and drop-off at Maizuru Port, giving you flexibility to choose the route that best matches your interests and pace while we take care of all the logistics.
